dudeontheguitar is a Kazakh artist and songwriter, and one of the leading voices of a new generation on Central Asia’s independent music scene.

Blending hip-hop, indie, and alternative music, he moves freely between genres without confining himself to any single sound. At the heart of his songs are personal experience, coming of age, self-discovery, and the realities of his generation.

For dudeontheguitar, music is a way to represent today’s Kazakhstan through his own voice — vibrant, contemporary, and authentic.
